I can't understand why GAP doesn't read reviews or listen to their customers! How many complaints does it take to change things? We are asking for sizes to be consistent and to be sized right. We are telling you something is wrong with your sizing. 5'6" tall, only 150 lbs, and I had to order the XXL... because I knew it would too tight in L or XL, and of course it's short and will be even shorter in length soon as it's washed. I hang tops to dry so they don't shrink but washing shrinks so many things anyway. GAP sizing has gotten as bad as Zara sizing. I love the thin stretchy cotton of this t shirt and have reordered it in XXL Tall. And I'm so disappointed the Blue Ridge colour is already sold out in Tall XXL. These t shirts are listed as new items and already tall sizes are selling fast. This should tell GAP something. We want shirts and tops in good quality fabric with decent length, so our stomachs aren't showing when we raise our arms. So, 4 stars for nice new colours Mauvey Brown and Blue Ridge, nice cotton, but losing a star for short length and sized so small.
I was so hopefully when I saw these t-shirts. I have been wearing GAP t-shirts for decades, and have become discouraged by their increasingly cheap quality and tendency to pill, so when I saw these cotton t-shirts I though perhaps we were returning to the 'good old days.' Unfortunately, these are... not an improvement. The fit is strange--EXTREMELY tight (I wear an XS in all GAP t-shirts and even in a size S this shirt was like wearing an ACE bandage), but the shoulders run large. The fabric is very thin, and is reminiscent of the 'tissue tees' of 20 years ago, but stretchier. I ordered this in navy and black, and can't imagine it being wearable in a lighter color. I do hope the GAP continues to work on making a quality t-shirt that actually fits.

This shirt, when it says close-knit, it's think bodycon material. You will take it out and not believe it is the size you ordered. It works if you want that second skin feel. And softness.

Am between a large/ XL Tall. Listened to reviews and picked the bigger size but should have sized up even more. Really tight in the body and arms and was not long enough either. Not the softest of material either Glad that I bought on sale. Will be passing it along to my daughter.
