The good things about this pant is that the fabric is really lovely. So soft with a bit of stretch, not too thick or thin. And the cut of the leg is great on my figure. My legs always look like logs in khakis but these are just a bit tapered. If you're looking for a straight or relaxed cut, you may ...not be happy with these. The Chino Beige color has a buttery yellow undertone to it which I didn't love. I was hoping it was more of a Stone or like the New Off White in the Downtown shorts. Sadly I have to return these. Like many posters have noted, the waist sizing is strange. I'm a size 8 and sized up to a 10, which is no big deal. It fit great in the hips and legs. Even the waist fit nicely without being too tight. But the odd part for me is the one to two inches BELOW the waist. It looks like it's pulling even though it isn't. I believe the pattern is cut too tight in that section, causing the pant to pull unattractively in that spot. This is why people are remarking that the waist section is too tight or it's showing every tummy line. Even my husband remarked "what's going on in the waist area?" I really want to keep these. The price is to die for and the cut is perfect for me. But I realize I have to return it until the pattern can be recut differently.
I ordered what I consider to be my "normal size" (based on the size chart and also the size I wear with numerous other brands), and I ordered one size up, based on the fact that numerous reviewers commented that they run small in the waist. The sizing of these were just weird for me. They fit grea...t in the hips and butt, but the large size that I ordered was about 2-3 inches too small when trying to button at the waist. I'm afraid getting a much larger size to fit my waist would end up being baggy in my hips and butt. With that said, these would probably be great pants for curvy ladies (I don't have wide hips at all), but just be aware the waist sizing is off. Also, I ordered "Petite" because I'm short and usually need a shorter inseam, but the Petite was like capris on me. Everything seemed off with these, for me at least.

Couldn't let these slip as the price point was just incredible. The fit is perfect for a casual look as they are roomy without looky messy on. Tapered at the bottom and the fabric feels great on the skin.

Yes, they run small. I'm 5'4" 115 lbs and usually order size 0 but based on other reviews I ordered a size 2 and that was definitely the right call. I bought two pairs in different colors and overall I really like them but the quality control on these pants was obviously missing which is probably they've been so heavily discounted. The first pair I ordered had a tag attached that said size 2 but the pants themselves were clearly marked 00. Thankfully the pair I was sent as an exchange were the right size. The real head scratcher was the second pair I bought ( in a different colors). They are about 6" shorter than the first pair. I don't mind cropped pants but even for me these are a bit much. But I figure they are still good for the summer and since I bought them on super sale they are not returnable. Given that I did get them on super sale I am still happy with the purchase but it would have been nice if they were a more reasonable length.

Weird fit…tight in crotch area and thighs…waist fit good but overall uncomfortable on me. I'm 5'5 and the regular length was cropped.
