I really like the color, length, and style of these pants. They are good for a casual look and for a more dressy look, which is great for work. I got the dark green color and they look really nice. They do give a National Parks Service vibe, but that's okay! My only issue is that they are too tight ...around the waist. I have other Gap pants in size 2 and these are definitely tighter. My guess is that if I sized up they would be slightly too big. But the pants are stretchy enough that I can squeeze into them and go about my day comfortably. I might let the button out a little bit, too. I recommend trying on in store if possible. I am 5'5" 130lbs and I typically wear a size 4-5, but sometimes size 2 in Old Navy/Gap brands.
I ordered what I consider to be my "normal size" (based on the size chart and also the size I wear with numerous other brands), and I ordered one size up, based on the fact that numerous reviewers commented that they run small in the waist. The sizing of these were just weird for me. They fit grea...t in the hips and butt, but the large size that I ordered was about 2-3 inches too small when trying to button at the waist. I'm afraid getting a much larger size to fit my waist would end up being baggy in my hips and butt. With that said, these would probably be great pants for curvy ladies (I don't have wide hips at all), but just be aware the waist sizing is off. Also, I ordered "Petite" because I'm short and usually need a shorter inseam, but the Petite was like capris on me. Everything seemed off with these, for me at least.

Nice quality, but I had to return them. I tried two sizes and on both the hips and crotch were very roomy, while the waist and legs were tight. I do have a small waist and large hips so I thought they would work, but they were uncomfortable to walk and sit in. I did like the way they looked though.

The worst thing about these pants is that they are cute for about 30 min, so you can't return them new and unworn. Then they get baggy and wrinkly, and look almost a full size too large. I tried washing on hot and drying on high to shrink them down, but to no avail. Waste of money. They look so bad after you wear them for a short time. Cheap fabric, I suppose. Wish I could get a refund.

The pants are just a bit tight on the waist. Perfect length.

Very soft cotton. The waist is a bit snug as per the other reviews. if you like the waist a bit looser, I'd size up.

There are times when it makes sense that something is on sale— this is not one of those times. These pants are amazing! I am 123 lbs, 5'0" and I bought a size 4. They fit perfectly. For a short person, like me, they are not ankle pants, though the length is just right to cover the ankle joint. The waist hits where it should. I just ordered two more pairs. You can't beat these pants!

These khakis fit perfectly. I wore them for the first time yesterday and they kept their shape throughout the day, no sagging or stretching. Thanks Gap!

The fabric and style is great, but size 14 is cut for a big butt and narrow waist
