This tank isn't like my lightweight and still worn Breathe tanks from years ago, which I was hoping to find in white. This new version is heavier and compresses ones body, so I was correct in ordering a size up from S to M (Petite).
The new version is also shorter, which I prefer. And this style is... very attractive in its shoulder and neck lines. It works best as outerwear.
The off-white didn't look bright enough so I ordered the ice-blue which looks white on the model but is actually a very sweet light blue. But I'm returning those and keeping the black color.

Changed the design!
I have been wearing this tank top since 2011. I first purchsed one when I was pregnant and needed a thank top that was a little longer. I loved it and continued to purchase them after my pregnancy. I wore them to sleep, around the house, and for casual errands. It was the perfect fit and was offered... in so many fun colors throughout the years (although they recently stopped making them in seasonal colors, which was such a bummer). It was a staple in my wardrobe for over 13 years!!! I recently purchased a few to replace my old ones and was so disappointed by the new design. The seem along the neck and underarm is thicker, making the neckline higher and the armpits smaller. The seam is also stiffer, so it's tighter all around. The new design is too uncomfortable for me, so I won't be purchasing them anymore. GAP, please, when you make have a design that works AND SELLS WELL, don't change it! I'm now on the hunt for a replacement closet staple :(
This tank is so nice it's got a great color and it's so soft and comfortable.

Did not like this! I typically fit in a small sometimes even an x-small. I was looking for a comfortable fit not a second skin so I decided to go up to a medium. OMG so tight!!!! I will be returning.

This was a GREAT tank top when it was 100% cotton. Now it's a cotton-synthetic blend, which totally sucks. If they go back to a 100% cotton one, I'll buy at least six of them every year. Until then, never again.
