This tank isn't like my lightweight and still worn Breathe tanks from years ago, which I was hoping to find in white. This new version is heavier and compresses ones body, so I was correct in ordering a size up from S to M (Petite). The new version is also shorter, which I prefer. And this style is... very attractive in its shoulder and neck lines. It works best as outerwear. The off-white didn't look bright enough so I ordered the ice-blue which looks white on the model but is actually a very sweet light blue. But I'm returning those and keeping the black color.
I have been wearing this tank top since 2011. I first purchsed one when I was pregnant and needed a thank top that was a little longer. I loved it and continued to purchase them after my pregnancy. I wore them to sleep, around the house, and for casual errands. It was the perfect fit and was offered... in so many fun colors throughout the years (although they recently stopped making them in seasonal colors, which was such a bummer). It was a staple in my wardrobe for over 13 years!!! I recently purchased a few to replace my old ones and was so disappointed by the new design. The seem along the neck and underarm is thicker, making the neckline higher and the armpits smaller. The seam is also stiffer, so it's tighter all around. The new design is too uncomfortable for me, so I won't be purchasing them anymore. GAP, please, when you make have a design that works AND SELLS WELL, don't change it! I'm now on the hunt for a replacement closet staple :(

There were mixed reviews on this and one of them was that it was too long (which is exactly what enticed me to order some). I ordered small in the tall, they are absolutely PERFECT!!! Like my dream tank top! Perfect length, the neckline, the stretch, they are soft, just honestly the best! I'm usually a size 6 and am 5'8" and 145lbs if that helps for sizing reference (so true to size in my opinion)
