This tank isn't like my lightweight and still worn Breathe tanks from years ago, which I was hoping to find in white. This new version is heavier and compresses ones body, so I was correct in ordering a size up from S to M (Petite). The new version is also shorter, which I prefer. And this style is... very attractive in its shoulder and neck lines. It works best as outerwear. The off-white didn't look bright enough so I ordered the ice-blue which looks white on the model but is actually a very sweet light blue. But I'm returning those and keeping the black color.
I have been wearing this tank top since 2011. I first purchsed one when I was pregnant and needed a thank top that was a little longer. I loved it and continued to purchase them after my pregnancy. I wore them to sleep, around the house, and for casual errands. It was the perfect fit and was offered... in so many fun colors throughout the years (although they recently stopped making them in seasonal colors, which was such a bummer). It was a staple in my wardrobe for over 13 years!!! I recently purchased a few to replace my old ones and was so disappointed by the new design. The seem along the neck and underarm is thicker, making the neckline higher and the armpits smaller. The seam is also stiffer, so it's tighter all around. The new design is too uncomfortable for me, so I won't be purchasing them anymore. GAP, please, when you make have a design that works AND SELLS WELL, don't change it! I'm now on the hunt for a replacement closet staple :(

It is so hard to find tank tops that fit right without the neckline being too low while the back doesn't have extra fabric that bulks in the shoulder blade area, the shoulder strap sticking up and the tummy area being too tight. I miss the old forever tank. Please bring the forever tank back!!!

The length is definitely better suited for the long torso girlies, but it's still a great basic for the price! It's slightly see through but incredibly stretchy and very comfortable. You can tell it'll last a while.

I have been buying this tank top for a few years and love the colour and fit! It's a perfect navy to go with many items and the length is great for over or under jeans for a sleek look. The quality this round has decreased significantly for me - thin fabric and the seam didn't match up well. I'll be looking elsewhere for my staple.
