This tank isn't like my lightweight and still worn Breathe tanks from years ago, which I was hoping to find in white. This new version is heavier and compresses ones body, so I was correct in ordering a size up from S to M (Petite). The new version is also shorter, which I prefer. And this style is... very attractive in its shoulder and neck lines. It works best as outerwear. The off-white didn't look bright enough so I ordered the ice-blue which looks white on the model but is actually a very sweet light blue. But I'm returning those and keeping the black color.
I have a 32" bust, 25" waist, and 36" hip. I would normally purchase an xs in tops, but based on other reviews I decided to size up to a small as I don't like a super tight fit. I'm 5'2", so I went with the petite option. I would say this top is pretty long with long straps for petite sizing. I'm ...short, but I have a long torso and this hit about 3" past my hip, and the straps were about 2" too long for me. This would be fine with a looser cut, but this top fits *very* tight. It's comfortable because the fabric is soft and stretchy, but the look isn't what I was hoping for. With the extra lenght in straps and torso, I had a lot of fabric bunching at my waist. The tight fit was comical around my larger hip area, and the overall look was not great. I will say that the fabric and stiching was good quality, so on other body types this could be a really nice staple.

Love this knock off of a man's white tank undershirt. This tank is the perfect length, not too long and not too short. I purchased the standard white. I will be wearing this into Fall, layering it with other clothes. I like that it is a cotton/blend.

Best. Tank. Period. I love a good basic and Gap's Modern Tank Tops are a great purchase. The fit is great and you can feel the quality. I prefer this tank over the Rib Scoop, which wasn't as flattering and the fabric didn't look as nice.

These are incredibly comfortable body hugging tanks that are all cotton. I wish I had known about these earlier in my life! I mentioned to my daughter, how delighted I was with my GAP tanks. She said they have been her favorite for many years.

I bought 2 of these at least a year ago and have liked them a lot, so a few months ago I bought 4 more. The newer ones seem to be a thinner material, and the threads along the waist on 2 of them are coming undone. Very disappointed.

Finally a good fitting tank top that is long enough but not too long (however I am 6 feet tall)! Now when are they going to get more sizes in the other colors? I was ready to order all of them but nothing left.
