Love this t-shirt. I have multiple in different colors and purchase new ones every year. The sleeve length is perfect for a classic, tailored look and the soft material is not see through at all. I appreciate the crew neck, as I try to protect my chest from sun in the summer months. Looks great ...tucked in with jeans, khakis, tailored shorts, and skirts. A French girl, classic look, timeless. I order a Tall Small in this style and I am long torsoed and it the length is perfect. Holds up well to washing, though I hang to dry. A tighter look overall, not meant to be boxy like a regular style t-shirt. Order a size up if you prefer a baggier look.
I was excited to see a half-sleeve T in the Modern line. The short sleeve crew is my go-to for summer, and the long-sleeve is perfect for layering in winter. Love the fabric, fit etc. So I expected to love this half-sleeve alternative. BUT one detail is different, and it really bothers me. The trim ...at the neck on the half-sleeve crew is not top-stitched like the others. As a result, it seems flimsier, cheaper, doesn't sit as well. For those with sensitive skin, it's not as smooth a finish either. Another inconsistency: the half-sleeve is, strangely, shorter in the body than it's sister styles in the Modern line. Gap, please bring this piece up to the level of others in this line!

Love the cut of this tshirt, especially the shoulders and arms. Just wish it came in more colors for summer! A nice emerald green, a soft pink, a sunny yellow, etc. Gap offers another "modern" tee that does come in a wider variety of shades, but it has a completely different cut and is not as flattering.

They bunched this up on the model in the first couple photos. It's my fault for not looking at all the pictures and reading the description but I thought it was more a baby tee length. I'm tall and sometimes want the length, but not this time. Just show the shirt in its full length jeez Louise.

Dress up or down and live the sleeve length. These added my all time favorite tees in crew and v-neck in both short and long sleeves. Lady for years! More colors, please! 😊

I like the way these Modern T shirt fit, but the stores never have TALL size on hand and the website is completly sold out in medium TALL. In the past I ordered these, one white TALL was the same length as Regular, and too short on me. Probably factory error. I am so bummed! Please bring them back for Tall people, I don't like my belly exposed.

This light gray t-shirt was made in Cambodia. I love the quality of the cotton, nice and thick with some weight to it, so I ordered same Modern Tshirt in yellow, sage and dark brown. Those three colors were made in Guatemala and are NOT the same quality as the light gray. They're thinner and will probably wear out faster than the gray one. Lesson learned!
