Love this t-shirt. I have multiple in different colors and purchase new ones every year. The sleeve length is perfect for a classic, tailored look and the soft material is not see through at all. I appreciate the crew neck, as I try to protect my chest from sun in the summer months. Looks great ...tucked in with jeans, khakis, tailored shorts, and skirts. A French girl, classic look, timeless. I order a Tall Small in this style and I am long torsoed and it the length is perfect. Holds up well to washing, though I hang to dry. A tighter look overall, not meant to be boxy like a regular style t-shirt. Order a size up if you prefer a baggier look.

Disappointed!
I was excited to see a half-sleeve T in the Modern line. The short sleeve crew is my go-to for summer, and the long-sleeve is perfect for layering in winter. Love the fabric, fit etc. So I expected to love this half-sleeve alternative. BUT one detail is different, and it really bothers me. The trim ...at the neck on the half-sleeve crew is not top-stitched like the others. As a result, it seems flimsier, cheaper, doesn't sit as well. For those with sensitive skin, it's not as smooth a finish either. Another inconsistency: the half-sleeve is, strangely, shorter in the body than it's sister styles in the Modern line. Gap, please bring this piece up to the level of others in this line!
I love this particular t-shirt specifically for the longer sleeves and comfortable fit. Great for us older girls who still need this in their wardrobe - I ordered multiples when on sale🙂

Personally love the length of the sleeves. The shirt itself has a great length to it, the material is super soft and slightly on the thicker side so not super see through. I went with the medium size which is very comfortable for me postpartum.

I have purchased the iconic GAP Modern T for 10-20 years and it was always great quality silky feel fabric but this latest one I received is a thin, poor quality fabric...rubbish!..please do not skimp on quality and bring back the original fabric

Ordered this in a size larger than usual to have a looser fit and very impressed with the stretch of the material, nice quality! Was surprised though on how the image and actual tshirt are not quite the same regarding the sleeves, they are not as long as they appear on the model. It is a shorter sleeve than expected, otherwise, very happy with this purchase
