These long-sleeve (L/S) shirts are thick, non-see-through, and wash well. I purchased this top in the following colors: Light Heather Grey (like as shown in the picture), Black, Fresh White (pills after a few washes and there's discoloration, but I find that with most things that are white), and Hea...ther Beige (not at all the same color as shown in the picture - it's more like when the (brown) sand on the beach gets soaked) - it's a pretty color, but much darker and not so heathered as pictured here. I find that these tops fit a little larger, so if you like these to fit true-to-size, with little to extra fabric, I recommend going one size down. If you like a little bit of extra fabric, go with your true size.
I used to buy these all the time when the REAL GAP sold them. They were soft and made of great cotton. They were thick and flattering on and kept their shape and color . Everything here has been getting progressively worse for a long time. This top fades after first wash and shrinks even in cold was...h, gentle cycle, line dry. The ones I got last week fit like a huge box and lost their shape fast and all the stitching at hem came apart on both of them. I had threads hanging off. I kept them because they are okay to wear as pajama top but I wouldn't wear them in public. Breaks my heart because you were the only place that used to have quality clothes for talls. Banana Republic is better quality but no tall sweaters and everything is so over priced. I used to spend thousands here and had lovely clothes to wear in my office. No more.

I buy at least three of these shirts every fall because as a 5'9 female they' were longer and covered the tops of the jeans and pants. If you're looking to replace a previous t-shirt from the gap, do not waste your money. These don't come to the top of the jeans. Completely disappointed. Won't be buying these again.

Every single store out there has a modal/cotton t-shirt. What was unique about the GAP was it's 100% cotton (easy care) tees. The modal version is fading quicker, retaining odors faster than cotton, and the fit is now shorter both in sleeve length and torso. First off, thank you for continuing to offer tall sizes. Huge win. Second, thank you for using jersey knit so that I don't have to iron t-shirts. But cotton is what made you unique. Modal feels great. At first. Then it's pretty bad fast. A little spandex? That's lovely - it helps prevent fading. But modal, really? Common on GAP, it's literally the same as every other t-shirt in every other store out there. Be unique, not the same.
