Material is thinner than the old Love no-show undies that I loved. They also don't have the velvety edge on the inside the way the old kind did. Wish they didn't have the seam on the sides so they were really no-show. That all being said, I like them enough to keep and order more of.
My weight is pretty much evenly distributed; slim with triangle shape; 27T Gap jean (35/36 inseam); size 6 work slacks/pants; 36B, XS/S Gap tops/dresses. Was looking to match the 7 wireless expresso brown t-shirt bras I bought (and love!). First, the "warm espresso brown" no show hipster DOES NO...T MATCH the "expresso brown" bra...huh?!? Second, not one for skimpy undies that wedge, bought a size large that covered my bottom decently, but did not cover to the top of my bottom...huh?!? Think. Plumber. Third, nothing supports the waist; there is just unfinished fabric...that's not even doubled! Enough said. I am a long time Gap fan from 1990. I wish Gap would make underwear for women who just want the "Gap look" AND the comfort of high rise undies with a bit of tummy control/support that cover your rear...top and bottom. Thank goodness for Gap's high rise jeans! Needless to say, I returned these and bought 5 pairs of another high rise "mature ladies" brand boy short (nice looking) with full coverage (bottom and top of bottom) in brown...that still doesn't quite match, but is close enough and the style I was looking for! Please try again Gap and keep the flesh tone colors for women of color (bring back the "mocha" tho).

gapcanada.ca/I got three of these hipsters 18 months ago (at full price!) and I've wanted to write this review for a while now, but kept forgetting. The fit and feel of these underwear is simply wonderful. They stay on, fit great, true to size, absolutely no-show, so what is there not to like? I travel a lot in my camper-van and wash my underwear by hand while having shover, so I can see the dye running from the product (black and dark brown) as if they were just dyed with ink. I mean the tub turns the colour of the underwear I wash. Most of users throw their underwear in the machine (with like colours), so they have no idea that the dye NEVER stops running out of them. It is toxic, unhealthy and definitely not something anyone should wear particularly on their intimate parts. This is so disappointing. GAP, I know you can do better. I am a faithful customer of yours, so please change this practice and improve the quality of your underwear. I would like to remain your customer.
