I have the black one that I purchased from here last year. Absolutely love it. Ordered the brown hoping it was the same , it is. The material is so soft, and the two button closure, elevates the look and the fit is perfect. I wear between a 6-8 on top and ordered the medium. I can wear a sweater und...er it with no problem And with the slightly curved waist, nothing boxy, just polished. You won't be disappointed. It is a very dark brown, but a rich color.
I've been looking for a tapered faux leather blazer for a long time and was super excited about this one but unfortunately for me, it fell short. **CAVEAT** I'm unsure if I got a defective one or what, but I've got some rather significant issues with it. For reference I'm 5'3" 36" bust, 28" waist... 130 pounds and went with a size medium petite for the shorter sleeve length PROS: The fit is decent, with sleeve hitting just at the wrists and tapered waist. The hemline falls just past my bum and isn't overwhelming. Shoulder pads are nice but not too structured. Fabric is very soft and doesn't feel plastic-y. Neither pro nor con but just of note- the brown is VERY dark, like almost black. CONS: Again, don't know if I recieved a defective one but it arrived with a TERRIBLE fishy smell. I washed it according to the instructions and aired it out and the smell is almost all gone but not quite. Additionally, the sleeve seams are rolling out/puckering on one of the arms, and the collar. It already looks worn/older even though I've just gotten it. The material, while soft, doesn't flex/stretch much and it grabs onto other leather/faux leather material so moving your purse/crossbody bag around is almost impossible. TLDR: I'm still debating whether or I should return/wait out the slow exchange process. Either way, I don't find it up to standard for the price (even on sale) which is super disappointing since I usually love Gap styles.

As others have mentioned, the material is heavenly, buttery soft! I got the XS, normally I'm a size S, but took a chance on a smaller size since others mentioned that it was a bit large on the shoulders. It is a little bit snug, but since I got it at a great discounted price, I'm keeping it!

#sweepstakes gorgeous! Looks way more expensive than it is. Even st full price, this jacket looks 3x the cost. I'm right in between 12 and 14, and size L fits great. I've received so many compliments on this "calf skin" jacket and I won't correct them 🤫
