I'm not sure what happened from when I last bought GAP boxer briefs to now, but something with their underwear sizing has definitely changed.
I have worn a LG for years and years, and my body hasn't changed much at all - so naturally, I ordered the LGs as the sizing chart said they'd fit just like ...the last several times. spoiler alert: they did not...
To my surprise, they fit like a schmedium at best! Perplexed, I returned the unopened packs, ordered XLs, and they fit just like the LGs used to fit. This may not be true for everyone, but I've read a couple reviews now that state the same.
I felt compelled to leave this review to help others make informed decisions - albeit just underwear lol. this is honestly my first concern about anything GAP related. I've bought their clothes for over a decade now, and have loved everything.
Hopefully, it is not a ploy by the fashion industry to further body shame humans by making the clothes smaller, but keeping the size label the same . . .

Buyer beware: there's no fly on these undies
The underwear are soft, they're well made, they fit comfortably... but there's no open fly on the front. If you're going to stand to pee, you're going to have to pull the top of your underwear down and urinate like you're six years old again. I'll be honest, I didn't check before purchasing to see i...f they had a functional fly (because I don't think I've had a pair of adult underwear that didn't have a working fly), but the product details of these don't mention it, and it took like six or seven pages of reviews to find another mention of it. So buyer beware -- the underwear are nice, but if you drink literally any amount of water throughout the day, they're a total pain. Switch to regular boxers from Gap, I guess?
