I really like my modern khakis in a relaxed fit because they are stylish, yet age-appropriate. My body type and my age are not appropriate for the skinny, slim-fit, tapered leg chinos that are currently trending, but these pants fit the bill for me. I also like the vintage-styled khakis as well. ...Thanks, GAP!
I ordered a new pair of these to replace a pair that had been stained badly. Somehow over the course of a year the material has totally changed. Previously it was a soft, high quality material. (And I purchased the old pair only a year ago, and own another pair more recent like this). The ones I ju...st received are totally different. The texture is much rougher, and much smaller thread count. It's thinner too. A totally different pant - much more consistent with Dickies in terms of the material. Very disappointed. I had been wearing this sort of khaki from Gap for a few years now - but won't be ordering again.

I've always been a hard fit as I don't like tight, which pants have been tending toward for decades, and need all cotton or at least very close. These were the only pants I felt comfortable in for my thick biker legs, even though they were not truly all cotton (2% spandex). Tragically this unique item seems to be discontinued, I'm wearing my last pair from years ago.

Nice fit. I had to hem them but that is nothing new since I've shrunk in height. Washed, pressed and ready to wear. My previous pair are very comfortable but a bit faded.
