I ordered the Modern Khaki in Straight Fit in Palomino Brown, size 34x36. These pants are comfortable and nearly perfect—straight through the thigh with enough room for comfort, not so slim that I can feel the fabric skimming the circumference of my leg. And flexible! I can squat to hoist my two-yea...r-old or crouch to retrieve whatever he's hoarded behind the couch without noticeable stress on the seams. They are so great, in fact, that it's almost disappointing that the tall sizes end at the 36" inseam. Old Navy chinos are available in 38" inseams (~46.5" outer length) and they fit me perfectly after a machine wash and dry. (For reference, I'm 6'4 at 200lbs, and I'm a 34x38 in the American Tall brand and in the Levi's brand.) Since 'tis the season for holiday discounts, I can justify the expense of having my tailor squeeze out another 3/4" from the hem to reach that length, hanging to dry for the lifetime of the pants. Despite size availability, it's still a five-star review. I ordered three more pairs in other colors.
Ordered two pairs of these pants, one in a stone, the other khaki. Khaki fit great and felt like a pretty good straight fit. The stone however felt more like a tapered fit and laying one over the other the pant leg was a good 2 inches tighter on the stone. The stone also had stitching coming loose a...t the crotch which I of course didn't notice until wearing for the first time. Overall unfortunate because if I knew the size would fit and quality would be good I would probably buy a blue pair too.

I was disappointed with the Modern Straight Khakis. The fabric feels thinner than my older Gap khakis, and the sizing is off. These run about an inch longer than my previous pairs, which causes the legs to bunch up at the bottom and makes them pretty much unwearable for me.

Fabric has completely changed from when I bought a pair in December. Feels thinner and not as soft, more like a canvas feel, and more wrinkly.
