I ordered the Modern Khaki in Straight Fit in Palomino Brown, size 34x36. These pants are comfortable and nearly perfect—straight through the thigh with enough room for comfort, not so slim that I can feel the fabric skimming the circumference of my leg. And flexible! I can squat to hoist my two-yea...r-old or crouch to retrieve whatever he's hoarded behind the couch without noticeable stress on the seams. They are so great, in fact, that it's almost disappointing that the tall sizes end at the 36" inseam. Old Navy chinos are available in 38" inseams (~46.5" outer length) and they fit me perfectly after a machine wash and dry. (For reference, I'm 6'4 at 200lbs, and I'm a 34x38 in the American Tall brand and in the Levi's brand.) Since 'tis the season for holiday discounts, I can justify the expense of having my tailor squeeze out another 3/4" from the hem to reach that length, hanging to dry for the lifetime of the pants. Despite size availability, it's still a five-star review. I ordered three more pairs in other colors.
I've bought almost a dozen pairs of these pants over the years. They've changed the fabric and construction style, but they're still pretty nice trousers. The newer fabric is thick and has a nice drape. They're great out of the dryer or ironed for a more polished look, and the stitching and hardware... is pretty hearty. The color choices are also pretty great, BUT… the quality control with these is absolutely AWFUL. I've bought pairs that were right on the money, and currently have several hanging in my closet that are a solid 1/2- to a full inch longer than labeled. If you're going to buy them be prepared to possibly have them hemmed or outright returned. Also, GAP, unless you're willing to reimburse me the cost of having these pants hemmed, I genuinely don't want to hear from you or talk to your customer service. Save the lip service.

I see the light khaki color , but GAP needs to offer darker khaki shades, in the khaki color family. I had may if the other colors and like this pant

Pants arrived late. It happens. The pairs I ordered were a very large fit to the size I ordered. 36x32L. A 34 would have fit. Colours great quality is good. I've always bought slim chinos from the GAP literally dozens of pairs over the years all fantastic. Thought I would change it up this time. GAP chinos are pretty much the only chinos I wear. The fix. I put the pants in the wash one dry on low boom perfect fit. Normally I only hang dry them. They'll last forever if you hang dry them.They will shrink be mindful. Great value for what your getting.

I ordered a 31x32 and it fits like a 32x34. The butt area is massively long. I've never had anything by Gap fit so poorly. Received it as a Bday gift and will be returning it ASAP.
