My son is 6' tall, 210 lbs, wears these in 36 x 30. They fit great. He is a lineman, throws shot & disc, and lifts all winter. I have struggled finding pants to fit his tree-trunk thighs. At age 17, he considers these to be dressy because of the button in the back, so not for regular school use (...bummer) but I now have Black, Navy, and Khaki on hand for the "dress up events" of fantasy draft (?? who knew), award dinners, etc. PLEASE NOTE: In jeans (Gap, Athletic taper), he likes a 36x32. I found that in the Athletic taper Khaki, the 36 x 32 was too long, the 36 x 30 was perfect. DEAR GAP: Please make this pant with a back pocket, no button.
As someone who runs, plays sports, lift weights, my legs are somewhat muscular. I normally wear Gap's Straight fit chinos in size 28 waist, but was looking for something a bit roomier. I thought these Athletic fit pants would work, since the description says "fuller through the thighs". I was qui...te disappointed when they arrived and I tried them on. They fit more like women's leggings. They are skin tight around my thighs and calves. I will go back to Straight fit. If you have skinny legs (not athletic) and like a slim tapered fit, these might be for you.

These pants are comfortable for athletic men (roomier in the thighs), stylish, and wear well. The reason for the rating not being 5 stars, is that if you use Shout Advanced on a stain, it removes the color! I think the manufacturer needs to develop a material that can withstand a stain remover.
