Sizing erratic, size charts inaccurate

If you look at the size chart for these pants (which are ankle length) then look at the size chart for pants that are full length and modeled as grazing the ground, they are exactly the same. How can ankle pants and full length pants have the same inseam? (Because Gap is lazy.) Sizing is all over the place, and it's beyond frustrating because stores do not carry stock and sizes constantly sell out online. Do better, Gap. (I'm 5'2" 120lbs and 4 petite is inexplicably too small.)

Had to size up 2 sizes - usually wear a 6, but wanted a looser fit. The 8 barely zipped, so ended up with a 10. They did stretch out a bit so maybe the 8 would have worked, but the 10 looks great. Great for casual or back to the office. #sweepstakes
