I'm not gonna lie - I bought these because Kate Middleton was photographed wearing them (in a print that unfortunately is currently sold out) and I love her style. I'm so glad I got these because they are possibly the best pants I've ever owned. So flattering, so comfortable, don't stretch out. Th...ey dress up for the office or a dinner date, but just as easily can be worn with a t-shirt on a day off running errands. I'm 5'5", 136 lbs and got these in a sz 10. They are body skimming - not too tight, but not loose at all. They have a fairly high rise (around 9.75") which is good for preventing muffin top. They don't feel momish, though, I am 44 with 2 kids, so maybe I'm not the best judge of that. They hit at my ankle bone and go great with flats, heels, wedges, even Keds. The fabric is a medium weight, so it does a decent job of camouflaging all the bumps and I don't have the 'behind-the-knee' creases after sitting at work all day. I love all the color/print options, so I can have multiple pairs, but not feel like I'm wearing the same pants all the time.
I purchased 4 pairs of these pants in black - 2 in early October, 2 more in early November (they were out of stock). All four pairs have faded so as to be unprofessional looking in only four months. Each pair has been worn less than a dozen times. They are washed as suggested (cool wash, gentle cycl...e, gentle detergent, cold rinse, no fabric softener, hung to dry). They are washed _every time_ with four black tops (also cotton-spandex blend). Only the pants are significantly faded. The tops (of another brand) are still fresh and deep black. The colour difference between the tops and pants is quite noticeable.I also wash two other pairs of black pants (another brand) with these. They show no fading at all. The problem exists entirely with the black Gap Bi-Stretch Skinnies. I also have two similar pairs of Banana Republic pants (cropped - so only worn in warmer weather) that are several years old and have none of the fading. I'm wondering if there was a bad colour run this fall ... ???I LOVE the fit of these (I have 2x8Long and 2x8Tall). They hold up well and show little bagging or sagging even after a full day on my feet at work - bending and lifting, sitting and standing. The awful fading is the only downfall to these pants. I now leave them as my last choice because they look so unprofessional.I'm considering re-ordering another 4prs of these because the fit is so great. However, I'm not eager to plunk down another almost-$400 just to get 4 months out of the pants again.

These are my new go-to pant for when I want an easy, upgraded look for a last minute night out or if I just want to look a little extra nice for work. They are so comfortable, hit perfectly at the ankle and look just as elegant with a ballet flat and white T or a kitten heel and turtleneck. Fitted, with a little stretch. Love!
