These are great basic skinny jeans with zero whiskering, which means they don't draw undue attention to your thighs. They are definitely sized accurately, so if you are used to typical vanity sizing, you may have to size up. I tried 26 first and they were skin tight, so I am waiting on 27 to compare.... One other thing to note is that these are cut short! Maybe that's just the petite version, but I am 5'4 and these hit a good 4 inches above my ankle bone.
For reference I'm 5'1 and under 100lbs. I measure 25.5" waist. The 25 is too small on the waist and the 26 too big especially in the crotch, I thought I could get away with the 26 having a little bit of wiggle room, especially if I were to gain a couple pounds, however there is just too much room in... the waist and it slips which makes the crotch keep falling and is annoying. The hips are a bit big also. So if you're kind of in between sizes, these are not forgiving and either direction unless you want to wear a belt to hold them up or deal with being too tight. The other issue I've never had in my entire life as a short person which is that these actually fall too short above the ankle. They don't quite fit inside a combat style ankle boot and bunch up and with sneakers and socks, they just look silly. These would only look good without socks. It just seems like clothing is just not made for small people anywhere anymore. The fits are so off. Also can we make pictures with models who are actually short why can't we show short clothes on short people?

Ordered my size according to size chart in tall. They fit perfectly and comfortably and length was perfect—not too short or too long for my 6ft tall frame. The denim is medium weight which should be good year round. The mid-rise is good, no bottom flashing when you bend over but I would prefer about an inch higher in the rise. Overall the design/fit is very good. #sweepstakes

These jeans are perfect. I purchased a 31 short I would have rather had a 31 petite but they were sold out The petites are a tad shorter. But these are great. They fit comfortably and they are not see thru and I can't wait for warmer weather to wear them. The gap has the best jeans. I love how they have the different lengths for us short girls. Thank you

I'm 5 feet 2 inches tall and ordered the petite which is correct for my height, but these were surprisingly short on me. Returning the petites for regular or maybe a tall size to see which one has enough length. Bizarre.

I had bought so many pairs of jeans before I finally found these which are the perfect fit. I'm tall and thin and I like the legs of my jeans to be fitted but had a hard time finding this until I came across these Gap jeans which are my favorite jeans right now. The only somewhat minor negative is that I found that they run about a size smaller than normal so I had to return the first pair for a size larger but no problem because now I have jeans and I will wear all the time.
