I bought these for my boyfriend who needs a 2xlt usually. After reading reviews, I decided to get him a size larger so it wouldn't fit too "fitted". He's overweight and currently wants to wear tops that aren't as "fitted" while he's in this transition mode of trying to lose weight but doesn't want current figure to be highlighted. Nonetheless, he still deserves great quality fabrics, whether he's overweight or not. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that in the description the company speaks of employing a dei program. I am a firm believer that dei programs lower standards and perpetuates a race war that erodes the crux of the American dream. It's a toxic system that elevates race, gender, and identity above merit, competence, and individual achievement. I'm part of the pride movement. But I can't support the development and implementation of programs that I believe harm the true validity of our movement. Anyway, I marked the shirt as being "true to size" simply because they advertise it as being a fitted style shirt. So as far as fitted shirts go, this shirt's size chart is accurate.
