I'm an oversize everything fan, but occasionally I feel like wearing something fitted and this is my go-to. I purchased a couple of shirts just like this one last year and kept reaching for them so had to come back for a couple more. The v neckline is definitely deep. They are nice and soft, but a h...eavier material which give them a little structure and makes it nice to wear when it's not completely freezing yet, but turning chilly. They are fitted, but not too fitted which is nice. I run between a medium and a large in tops because of my broad shoulders and 38B chest, and for me medium is spot on, which means it may run a bit big for people who are a small-medium or more slender build. I'm 5'4 150lbs
For most Gap tees & sweaters, I wear a Small as they're generally described as "Straight silhouette with a slim fit." The description for this tee said "Straight silhouette with a loose fit". I thought I'd be safer w/an XS if it was going to be "loose fit." I bought another Gap tee at the same time,... it was describer as a slim fit & I ordered the small. The tee described as slim fit was perfect in a size small. This tee, described as loose fit, was too small in an extra small. Apparently the description "loose fit" was not correct for this tee, I really needed my normal size small. Gap: please be more careful when describing the fit of an item; the description of this one was completely wrong. Won't be returning it as I don't drive, not worth the cost of an Uber to & from the UPS store or post office to exchange for a size small.

fit is good and sizing
