I'm 5'5" and around 127 lbs, and I ordered sized XS and Small in Heather Grey. I am typically a Small in other brands, and I ended up keeping the size Small, so I would say it runs true to size, but that it is intended to be a relaxed/slightly oversized fit. In the size Small, it looked like it does... on the model - a slightly oversized, retro gym-class look. The only thing I would change about it is I wish there was *slightly* less material in the sleeve width, but it's not an issue for me. It reminds me a little bit of American Apparel unisex hoodies back in the day, but it is warmer and has more room at the hips. The XS did fit and was more a tailored look, which some may prefer, but the wrist cuffs and bottom around the hips were more snug than I liked (my hips around around 37"). The hoodie is incredibly soft both outside and inside. It is quite thick - I would describe it as medium to heavy weight. I'm super happy with it!
I bought a vintagesoft Gap hoodie last year and loved it. So did my daughter and aunt, so I bought hoodies for them, too. Lost mine and ordered this replacement. Sadly disappointed. They had the perfect classic, but ruined it. This new version is much shorter in the body--now barely at waistband, in...stead of low hip--not as soft, and the hood tie is black instead of white. Wish I had checked closely before removing tag. Bring back the old, better version!

I ordered 2 of these hoodies different sizes. They both smell horrible. I can't describe it. I have a really poor sense of smell. If I could smell them they must stink. Gap, instead of worrying so much about gender equality you should worry about the quality you lost somewhere along the way. You used to sell quality fabrics, but for a while the quality has been decreasing steadily.

its a fine zip up hoodie, a bit longer than I hoped. I will try the wedgie for a shorter fit- just afraid that will be too short. I am 5"4 with a short torso. Good pick for an oversized fit hoodie!

I bought the TALL version of this hoodie. The construction of this hoodie is very poor - the zipper seam has visible raw fabric edges on both sides, the inner layer of the hood seems to be bigger than the outside of the hood making it bulk up at the seams. As someone who sews this is not what I would expect to purchase as a finished product. Pros: the fabric is comfortable and soft.
