I hope this review helps others find the right size. This is my 3rd purchase of these pants to get the size right. When they fit, they're incredible, but wait until they are on sale which is what I did. I'm 5'5" and weigh 180 and my normal size is an XL or 1X depending on the brand. But in these pan...ts, a Medium fits me perfectly. I first bought an XL which was ridiculously huge and too long. I then bought a Large Petite which was still too big but now too short. I finally purchased a size Medium Regular Length and they fit incredibly. To address other reviews: these pants don't really look like jeans on me but very well made sweatpants. Second, they are true French terry and the weight is moderate. Third, they are not "baggy" as the title suggests but have a very wide leg. The sizing is very off. The waistband of these pants is very big and expands a lot. My waist is just over 40 inches and the medium size I just received measures only 30 inches but they fit great - which probably seems off but they do. Not only do they fit around the waist, they do not bind at all and are very comfortable. And the hips and rear fit well (42 inches on the medium), with the length just touching the floor (29 inch inseam on the medium). It seems that with these particular pants, the larger the size the bigger the waistband, the wider the leg, and the longer the inseam. I don't understand why an XL would be so much longer and wider in the legs. I suggest sizing down about 2 sizes, and know that the larger sizes have very expansive waists with no drawstring to keep them up (there are belt loops however), much wider legs, and a much longer inseam. Also, they are color washed, meaning that the color is lighter than the photos. The navy has a faded look to it and so does the black. They are incredibly comfortable, well made, and extremely good looking when you find the right size and length. Good luck!
The black ones just look like medium gray sweats. Whoever said they look like jeans is wrong! I wish they were darker like in the picture and had more of a jean wash with fading and variation. I originally brought my normal size S but had to size down to XS because the waist was too loose. I should ...not be an XS in pants! (I am 5 foot 4 and 125 pounds.) Petite was a bit long on me. The hem on these pants don't lie flat well and roll up a bit so I just ended up cutting the pants a couple inches shorter and then they curled up at the bottom (which is similar to when the hem didn't lie flat). I do really like the wide leg fit of these. I have other wide leg pants that fit weird and look poofy in the mid leg but don't look as wide in the bottom. The shape of these are nice. I also liked how it has belt loops and vertical pockets (instead of pockets that open up on the side like regular sweats). These are a terry fabric instead of the soft type of fabric so it's the fabric type that is a bit rough on the inside. When the waistband is visible, you can tell that it's elastic because it has the elastic wrinkle instead of a smooth waistband. I kept these because I like the fit but I do wish it looked more like jeans and was the wash in the picture. It is expensive for sweatpants. I have soft wide leg sweatpants from other stores for $30!

Firstly order a size smaller than you would normally and secondly only order black if you want greyish black type sweatpants.

I am so glad I tired them on- they are just the thing I didn't know I needed- many levels elevated form a normal straight leg sweatpant- they are luxuriously heavyweight in the best way, pockets make these look like real pants and these are your new best travel pants , comforter without compromising on polish , add a nice sweater or tshirt and scarf or blazer , you have a nice look. Casual but a notch above. I'd say they are a generous fit - normally a medium - went down to a small, and I still have room. I'm 5'6 and the regular length is perfect for flats. I looked at them and was originally looking for straight leg sweats , but when I tired these it was no contest, these do so much more .

These sweatpant jeans are the greatest for those ladies that like them fitted at the waist, straight wide legs, while loose along hips and thighs, these are the best! They're very forgiving for those of us with a small waist and heavier legs. Perfect!

Great, flattering and comfy sweatpants. I ordered my usual L tall because I'm 5'10" but it was a bit too large and waayy too long (dragging on the floor by multiple inches) even after washing & drying so I recommend sizing down and avoiding the tall sizing unless you're over 6ft.

These were a perfect length until I washed them. They shrank a bit too much for my taste

These pants are ridiculously heavy. Large was huge and the weight of the material pulled them down over my hips. Also, they are a faded grey, not the dark pant shown in the picture.

the texture is thick and soft on the inside. it's definitely pricey, but honestly so comfortable and 3/4 of the way from casual and comfy. things to note: the black wash is kind of a darker grey wash and the small size was surprisingly pretty big (i had to roll it over three times) and my go-to pant size is a small! reordered an xs and likely will also need to hem them as these are longggg
