I went up one size (from a 25 to a 26) so they would fit slightly looser than the model and it worked exactly as planned. I bought these in both white and dark washes and both are amazing. I'm going back for the black pair :-)
I so badly wanted these to work and have tried them in both high and low waist but in both cases (and multiple sizes) the backside was tight across the bum and a huge gap in the waistband. I am your average 40 year old size 6 mom of 4 body type. I don't have a big bum or a small waist… pretty aver...age proportions in those departments. I can only see these working for you if you are quite rectangle and have a very flat backside. Even then I can't see anyone not having a gap in the back of the waistband. So unfortunate because these jeans are beautiful otherwise. I will add that I tried to pull them down to "low ride" them more but it just flattened my but out even more of that was even possible and felt like the crotch was going to rub between my legs and drive me crazy. But hey maybe I'm just not cool enough and I'm wearing them wrong 🤷🏼♀️ do we like flat bums now?

Love these!! I'm 5"2, 120-125lbs, and I struggle with finding jeans that fit. However, these are the perfect length for me (hallelujah ♥‿♥), I found them pretty comfortable, and the low rise isn't too extreme which I appreciate since I got these for work. Super cute on my petite figure, I ordered a 27 petite!

gapcanada.ca/These are nice pants, nice stiffness which is ideal with barrel pants. BUT these are NOT low waisted. I am 5'9" and the waist is still above my belly button…… disappointing. Also these are that type of pant material where it hangs onto all hair and lint which is tough since they are black. Wish they were actually low waisted!

The button is impossible to undo. I have to pull them off and on while buttoned. And there's a funny fit with the crotch. Like it's too high? Even with the waist riding VERY low. I do like the look

gapcanada.ca/I wear a 27 or 28 at gap - I bought the 28 in these for a slightly slouchy fit (which worked just right for the high rise barrel). The waist on these is huge - there is at least 4" of extra space. The rest of the pants fit great so sizing down will only make the rest of the pants too small.
