This is my second pair of GAP leggings - and I'm continually surprised by the cut, fit and quality of them. I've been a Prana and Patagonia wearer for years, and while I still love the brands' leggings, GAP is giving them a run for their money. At 5'3" and 125-128 (depending on the day), I'm muscula...r (a cyclist and runner) with a 26.5-27-inch waist and 35.5-inch hips and the petite small in these fit perfectly. They are HIGH rise, but it's generally flattering and the length hits just above my ankle, much like other brands' 7/8 leggings. Will definitely be coming back for more when I see a need.
I'm 5'2" and about 120 lbs, and I am a consistent XS in GAP and Athleta leggings. While I love the color, Essex Green, the fit is awful. There is nothing about these that makes them sculpting, which I translate to some compression. The material is thin without support - the quality is not the same a...s other leggings. As for regular vs petite, this is new. I got the regular at first, and they were far too long. While I've learned to live with this, I returned those for the petite. The length is perfect, BUT the high waist isn't high. They come up to an awkward spot and don't stay up. Regrettably, I didn't notice the issue at the waist until I had already washed them and put them on to workout. I got these on sale, thank goodness, but I still feel like I wasted money. I'm bummed! I love the color, hence the two stars.

#sweepstakes I love Gap leggings! I've tried so many brands - and more expensive too - but Gap leggings hold up the best. They wash well, don't shrink, don't pill and fit so well. Forever a Gap legging girl!!! Highly recommend these leggings!

This legging is my everyday staple and have many colors. The "new" black camo is soooo shiny and the fabric is slick and gross! Come on Gap…give us a nice matte finished black or grey camo like the solid black fabric you use. Love the tall sizes, but the black camo is actually too long for my long legs.
