I did not see any images that showed the shorts beneath so wasn't sure if maybe this was a typo, but they exist. I like the style/ design of this skort but it did not look good on me, the pleats didn't lay flat on my hips and visually added too much width. I'm 5'4" size 4 in this skirt which is my ...typical size for Gap bottoms, and the skirt was fairly short (3-4" above my knees) but I will say the shorts beneath at least assure full coverage in wind, bending forward, etc. The shorts are not like you would have in a tennis or athletic skort, they match the fabric of the skirt and are like tailored shorts. Meaning they aren't next-to-skin, so they might contribute to the skirt looking bulky/ wide depending on your shape. The fabric was as expected/ described, arrived a little wrinkly but nothing that couldn't be easily steamed out. All in all, actually pretty well executed, I just couldn't pull it off.
This was so cute. Perfect size. Zipped it up and the zipper just…. Split for no reason. There was no tension or strain, it literally fell apart as I zipped it the first time. The zipper is so thin and weak, and just didn't sit well on its track. Poorly executed and totally ruined what was otherwise ...a massively cute skort. I mean it was literally perfect and I was gonna wear it so much.
