I ordered this sweater in a petite small in the red and a petite medium in the taupe since the small was sold out. I ordered them at the same time and when I got them I was shocked at how much smaller the medium was than the small. The red one does feel a tad softer and stretchier which may be why i...t's bigger but either way the medium should be the bigger one. I'm actually keeping both since they technically both fit oversized on me, but I do prefer the shorter sleeves on the taupe (size med) since I'm 5'2 and I feel like I have to cuff the sleeves on the red (size small).
Wore this sweater a few times and was disappointed how fast it pilled and showed wear. Washed 2 or 3 times (always light cycle in garment bag, cold water), and on the last wash it completely disintegrated. Huge black balls of the material all over my other clothes in the wash, shook out the sweater ...and the black balls of the fabric went everywhere. Need to throw it out which is really disappointing as I like to get at least a few seasons worth of my purchases and avoid fast fashion.

I ordered a few sizes and colors to find my best fit due to all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, there is inconsistency in sizing at least when comparing the items that I ordered. I ordered a S Petite in Black and also ended up getting the XS Petite in Sled Red (in error in shipment from warehouse. Sharing pictures in this review to show the difference.

I love this set so much that I bought it in 3 colors! The fabric is soft, warm, comfortable, and cute. I'm tall and I have the top in a tall and the bottoms in the regular inseam and they are long enough for me at 5'9 which never happens.
