These fit have an extremely flattering, slim-but-never-tight fit. The material has real heft and weight, especially compared to many stretch jeans these days. There's just enough elastane to keep them from being stiff, but they still feel like old-school 100% cotton jeans. The light wash is my absol...ute favorite wash in any jeans. Good light washes are hard to find, and I'm sad that it seems like they're phasing it out. Should've bought more pairs.
Bought these as most slim fit jeans I had bought hugged too tight around the calf for me. Bought these in my normal size and they were actually a bit big, which is rare. I'm 6ft and 105kg, I have larger legs than average, but I'm no Rony Coleman. Now down to the fault with these jeans, an I imagin...e potentially all other GAP designs with the same denim. The denim split at the inside edge of both back pockets. I did not uses these for work and I had washed them perhaps twice. I wore them relatively frequently, but it wasn't until I had to squat down a few times for a few minutes at a time that the material began to break down to the point where they are useless. I had tried to repair jeans with this failure before, albeit they lasted longer from other suppliers, however due to the fact the pockets are sewn on with a double seam, it is very difficult and beyond my skill set. Unfortunately I cannot recommend purely because these last maybe the best part of 2 to 3 months, with no heavy use. Now I will have to spend more on jeans from a different supplier, which is perhaps what I should have done in the first place.

Had initially bought a couple pairs, and absolutely loved them. Ordered 4 more in each of the remaining colors available in my size. And the fit on all these jeans are wildly inconsistent. Some are too loose, some are too tight, some are just right, none are the same. Something is wrong with the quality control at Gap. I shouldn't be getting such varied products just because of a different wash on the jeans - product description doesn't say anything changes with regards to denim weight by wash

These fit true to size, as expected. They have a little stretch to them, but not as much as some other jeans I have tried that stretch out too much as you wear them and become baggy by the end of the day. Color is very solid midnight black. The crotch is a little longer than i would have liked, which is why they didn't get 5 stars.
