I was looking for a classic denim shirt that could be dressed up or down. This one is pretty much perfect. The fabric is on the thinner side, so it graces the body better than a thicker denim would, and is easier to tuck in, which I like. It also doesn't seem like it will wrinkle too badly. I normal...ly wear a size small in Gap tops, and in this one both the size small and medium fit - the medium provides that looser, more easy going fit though, so leaning on keeping that one. Would love to see Gap make this in a darker denim shade!

NOT 100 % organic cotton - it's actually 24% Lyocell
NOT 100 percent cotton as advertised, nor are pics of collar correct. Black "denim" shirt is actually 24% Lyocell per clothing tag which makes the collar collapse at all times and appear disheveled as another reviewer noted. This limits it's use for me. Fabric blend drapes nicely, but with no struc...ture it leaves the shirt looking tired at all times. It is IMPOSSIBLE to keep the collar as shown in the pics online. Impossible - it just flops down and spreads out. Please correct the fabric content as I had to return both shirts.
This shirt is Fantastic, lightweight and comfortable, with that classic look the can be casual and dressed up. I am already getting a lol of wear out of it. It is light enough to fit under a sweater or blazer. It fits well. I am usually at size 14/16 and the XL fit perfectly #sweepstakes
