I kept this as I like the color and fit. I believe it was a return from someone else, because it was rolled up in a messy ball. When I took it out of the bag it was an insane mass of wrinkles. So right away I was like "forget this", but tried it on, and really liked the color and the fit (tho the... sleeves are big and lame, I can roll up). Did size down twice, per reviews. Did not choose Petite. In the end I decided to keep it, despite J Crew resending shirts in a hysterical mess. Not a high quality linen, but still I liked. Great color, really (aqua).
I was really excited for this based on the other reviews, but the shirt I received did not match the product pictures or description at all, other than being a black button up. It was very fitted and definitely not cropped. I'm average height (5'6) and it hit mid-hip on me. To make it worse, the fab...ric is not comfortable at all- super stiff and almost scratchy. I tried it on and my partner immediately told me I looked like a waiter haha. I guess it might have its place, but I was definitely hoping for a more relaxed shirt.

I'm about 5'10, so finding long enough arms in a button up especially is nearly impossible, this one is perfect! I can even roll the sleeve a little and it's still great. It's also cropped appropriately for a tall girl, so it goes down past the top of my jeans. Really perfect basic!!
