Inconsistent sizing

I had bought these in Dark Brown a few mos. ago and really like how they have become more comfortable with wear and came back and got the off-white. In the brown I bought the 'short' inseam, and this time bought the short and regular inseam, as each pair will run differently. What my pet peeve is, a...

Brutal but So Fetch

Okay! 5'3" 130, pear shaped. Usually a size 6/28 petite or short. I had to purchase a 30 petite to finally get the right fit. Note these pants are low stetch material so do not expect any give with these jeans. On the other hand the acid washed color is definitely awesome and once you can nail yo...

Comments about High Rise ’90s Slim Straight Jeans

Wow, real jeans! I've gotten so used to cheap "jeans" infused with stretchy material over the years, and also no one carries the straight leg fit I've grown to love anymore, so I thought I would try some classic Gap jeans. I think this is my first pair, and I absolutely love them! They are real denim, they make my butt look awesome LOL, and I feel kind of trendy when I wear them. I will definitely be ordering more and trying different styles/fits.

Great Jean, But Not Really High Rise

I like these jeans a lot, but at 5'4" a 1-1.5" heel is as high as I can go without these looking too short. I also don't think these are high-rise, they are more like medium rise. This feels like a negative review, but I will be buying a second pair. Just wanted to share the points above.

I loved how these fit. But I never had it before where my jeans ripped in the first 3 months. It was in the pocket corners. I wish I read the reviews because other noted the same. Please save your money and do not buy.

I purchased size 27 in three different washes - light blue, dark blue and black. Light blue and black fit well (although the black ones have longer legs) but the dark blue wash was too tight in the legs. Exchanged for a 28 and fits great, maybe a touch loose in the waste band but it's comfortable. 5'5 131 lbs

Love the fit of these jeans and style. However, the seams aren't matching on each leg. I know they are supposed to be slightly to the front. But on one side much more to the center than the other. Is it possible the pair I have is defective?!

Jeans have been cotton and spandex/elastane for years. Just ordered a pair from GAP and they're now using 11% polyester. Why, GAP? They were fine the way they were. I'll have to buy elsewhere. Disappointed.

Most 90s Slim Straight jeans don't have 11" rises.

I've ordered many pairs of these jeans in various washes, sizes, and lengths over the last few months when they've been on sale. Nearly all of them had 10" to 10.5" rises. And the sizes fit differently from one pair to another, even in the same style and wash. When you find a color/style that you like, you might have to buy three or four pairs of the same size in order to get one with an 11" rise that fits correctly. I do like the amount of polyester in these jeans. I find that they don't stretch out as much after I've had them on for a few hours.

These were a bit too snug, had to return! More of a skinny jean than a 90s jean, but might be better if you size up a bit. Love the wash and quality of the denim though.
