Great jeans. Not too flared. I really like GAP clothes but unfortunately they do not make a size 25 short in their jeans. I need a 25 in the waist, but in the "short" length. The petite is sometimes too short in length and too short waisted for me. I can't understand why they make every other size... available in the short length except 25. I bought the petite, but I can't wear them with higher heels. Otherwise, I love them. I could have brought the 25 regular and had them hemmed, but hemmed jeans never look quite right. I would like to continue to buy my jeans from GAP, as well as other items, but it is very frustrating that they have excluded my size in jeans.
I was looking forward to these based on all the good reviews. Unfortunately I didn't think they looked as good in person. The model photos are shot from a lower angle accentuating the bottoms. But they're not really true flares, they're more like semi-wide leg. It's like flares for people afraid of ...flares. The other thing I noticed on mine is that the waist line dips down to the button, creating a triangular shape on my midriff instead of going straight across. Which meant if I wore a cropped top where the hem kisses the pant waist, there was a pretty obvious triangle of skin showing smack in the middle. Not groovy. Quality wise they seem good though, fit true to size, and shipping was super quick. Thus the 3/5 stars.

these are super cute and comfortable but I had to size up 2 sizes from what I normally wear for them to fit me through the hip. these jeans have zero stretch.

I'm petite, the fit was perfect, I love the front square pockets. The flare did not look great on me. I'm over 55 and I'm looking for a more polished look. The flare did, not sure if it was the material, gave the Jean a relaxed look. That's why I gave it a 4 , otherwise I would have given a 5. Very flattering

These jeans are great - the rise is nice and high and overall super comfy. The fit is a bit tight. I ordered the 29 (my usual size) (in the black) but exchanged for a 30. I'm 5'9" with a long torso and I find the regular length is perfect. I've worn them for a few long days so far and they haven't lost shape. I haven't washed them yet so I can't speak to that but overall really liking these jeans! #sweepstakes

I liked the fit but it is too long for people that are 5'0" tall. I have avg torso and not super long legs but the petite is way too long for me. I wish gap petite was shorter length.
