I bought these for my 4 year old about a month ago. I really like them because they aren't as casual as his regular sweats. He wears these to school. My issue with them is that they fit when he first tried them on and now that I've washed them, they are about 1-2 inches too short... They do seem to ...run bigger in the waist so I'm not even sure if sizing up would help. He is on the average size for height and weight and typically wears 4t bottoms at Gap. I just got him a pair of slim stretchy jeans from Gap in a 4t and they are so much longer than these.

These shrink so much!
I love the look and feel of these pants. They're less sloppy looking than regular sweatpants but are still comfortable for my busy preschooler to run and play in. The problem with them is that they shrunk A LOT in the wash/dryer. I sized up to a 4t so that he could grow into them and they were roomy... on him when I first tried them (I even needed to roll the cuffs) but now after a few washes they are above his ankles. They are shorter than his 3t Gap pants.
