These are proper skinny jeans with a lot of stretch and are very soft. My toddler is very skinny and most skinny jeans don't look skinny on him. These are perfect for him. I will say if your toddler has thicker legs they will probably be pretty tight.
Be careful with these. I've received two pair that seem to have a defect in the hook-bar closure. I initially purchased a size 3, the whole bar came out after wearing/washing a few times. I couldn't put it back in or I ordered a size 4. My son just recently wore the size 4 for the first time and it ...looks like the bar of that pair will eventually come out.

If you are looking for skinny jeans, these are the best I have found. I wish they offered them in more colors. they are super slim but that is what makes them so stylish.

These jeans are not for cute chunky babies. Lol other friends have had success with them, but for mine they just were a little bit too slender. And when I went up a size they were just too long.
