My son usually wears a size 14 slim. I got the large slim, and they were very short, like a size 10, although the waist was perfect. He had already ripped off the tags, so I cut them into knee-length shorts. Cute jeans though. Wish they had XL in slim.

These are a stretchy band with no zipper and button and my 12 year old boy would not wear theses. These are for toddlers not teen boys
