I bought these for my boyfriend who needs a 2xlt usually. After reading reviews, I decided to get him a size larger so it wouldn't fit too "fitted". He's overweight and currently wants to wear tops that aren't as "fitted" while he's in this transition mode of trying to lose weight but doesn't want ...current figure to be highlighted. Nonetheless, he still deserves great quality fabrics, whether he's overweight or not. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that in the description the company speaks of employing a dei program. I am a firm believer that dei programs lower standards and perpetuates a race war that erodes the crux of the American dream. It's a toxic system that elevates race, gender, and identity above merit, competence, and individual achievement. I'm part of the pride movement. But I can't support the development and implementation of programs that I believe harm the true validity of our movement. Anyway, I marked the shirt as being "true to size" simply because they advertise it as being a fitted style shirt. So as far as fitted shirts go, this shirt's size chart is accurate.
I had one of these pocket T's previously and it fit properly. This last batch are much tighter and one had loose threads and one the fit is off so it pulls to one side. I am 5'9" and 170 lbs. I always order Extra Large because I like my T shirts a little loose and these are snug on me. I am obviousl...y not a big guy and the previous shirt I bought fit perfectly so I don't know how Gap can mess this up so bad. It is outside the return window so now I am stuck with defective T Shirts. Gap, stop changing where your product is made, this is what happens. I was looking for the Organic short sleeve T-shirts without the pocket and they are nowhere to be found.

This is the perfect tshirt. The organic cotton material is aoft and thick (but not too thick). I wish there were more color options. I'm 5'2 105lb and got the XS—it's just the right amount of bagginess without being too big. #sweepstakes

I love this shirt! The thickness of the material is nice, not flimsy, and the color is perfect. I docked a star because the hemline stitching was coming out upon arrival, but that wouldn't stop me from buying more.
