I have another pair of skinny and slim fit Gap jeans and chinos size 31 and they fit nicely, but these I bought size 32 and fit me incredibly tight. I had to return them baffled by how tight the size 32 was.

I've purchased two pairs at the same measurement and the fit is inconsistent. One perfect fit, one too tight. The too tight pair at a 32" waist is tighter than a pair of khakis I have with a 31" waist. When you order slim fit, you need to be able to trust the waist measurement and the volume of the cut. Love the fabric and like the pair that fits right, but probably won't order again.
