Everywhere I go, people stop me and compliment these pants. Sizing was a bit tricky for me. I'm 5'5 128-ish with no waist and a soft mom belly. I tried on Small and XS. Small was not as cute in the rear so I bought the XS out of vanity, but the waist is a bit more snug than I would ideally like. If ...you curve in at the waist, you might not have this issue (?). I really could have gone with either of my two sizes. In response to the negative reviews calling these "enormous clown pants" etc, I would just say, well yeah, these aren't leggings or skinnies. They are flowy and drapey and they have a loose, baggy shape that is incredibly chic and current. If you typically wear pants that stay very close to the line of your legs, these might feel like a change for you, but I highly recommend giving them a try.

I wanted to love these
This is my second try with this style. I'm starting a small business and putting together a wardrobe for working from home - something a step up from around the house wear. Cargo styles fit the brief since they can hold my phone, pens, pads, etc. These come in Tall which seemed perfect for my 5'10" ...frame. I ordered the medium first but they were away too big so I thought I'd try size small. On the plus side they're very comfortable. But they're very unflattering. I have a decent figure (I used model back in the day) but, unlike the photo of the model wearing them, they look almost clownish. I don't know how they got these pants to look like that, but not reality's a very different thing. Gap stores don't carry Tall sizes so returning them (3 pairs) will be a pain. Nice idea but the execution's not so good.
If I could continue buying these every year as an auto renew subscription, I would. With the right top, you can easily elevate these pants. I constantly get compliments when wearing these and I know my black pair is wearing thinner and thinner from so much use. I'm going to grieve these pants when the day comes where I can wear them.

Lightweight and comfy, but a bit thin to the point where you can see lines for some types of underwear. The elastic to cinch the bottom is super long and can poke out.

These are the perfect pants - I have them in multiple sizes and colours. They're ideal for travelling - you stay cool (and look cool!) and they don't wrinkle easily. The snap button front gives it a more streamlined look than if it was elasticised all the way around. You can also dress them up or down. If there were new colours, I'd buy them all. My only complaint is that they're a little short but you can always low ride them.
