Gap knocked it out of the park with these jeans. Baggy jeans like this SHOULD be constructed with a thin and flowy fabric. And that's exactly what these are. That perfect slouchy drape that looks so cool and effortless. Yet somehow, they do not look sloppy. I've never felt a more comfortable pair o...f jeans right out of the bag than these. And extra points for the fact that they actually offer a wide variety of sizes in Petite. I'm 5 feet tall, and around a size 16-18 (I purchased 34 Petite, might have even gotten away with a 33) and these were perfect. May not be able to wear them with a super flat shoe, but they were still perfect in length with a chunky sneaker. I'm going on to buy another pair right now. After years of enduring ridiculous skinny jeans, these are a breath of fresh air, lol. Gap, please re stock!
I measured myself according to the size guide and ordered what I thought would be one fitted size to sit at my waist and one looser to sit at my hips. The looser size, which is labeled as a 33 inch waist is actually a 40 inch waist and the legs are so insanely wide I could probably conceal at least ...2 small children inside each pant leg. The smaller size, labeled as a 31 inch waist is actually a 36 inch waist. So I guess just do what the gap does and don't actually measure anything, just use your intuition to label the size and take a guess when you order, but actually size down by at least two sizes vs your actual measurements. Sucks bc now all the other sizes are sold out and had they fit they might have actually been cute in Y2K massively baggy jeans kind of way. So thanks Gap, for trying to convince people they're smaller than they are by weirdly messing with your size labels. I knew there was a reason I haven't shopped here in years.

I was on the hunt for a pair of white twill drawstring pants and was hopeful for the optic white pair. The material is soft, has great movement, and not overly baggy. The huge seam down the fronts of the legs throws off the look I was going for though so sadly returning. I would say these are true to size for the style. If you're between sizes, go up if you want them to fit loose throughout and down if you want them not as baggy on the hips/thighs. I'm between a 4 and 6 and preferred the 27.

Love, love, love this jeans so much! Short would've been perfect as the petite is just a tad short but still way better if ive gotten a regular inseam. For reference, I'm 5 1" and went for the size 25. This runs slightly big so I recommend sticking to your size if you want a relaxed fit and sizing down if you want your jeans fitted around the hips.

gapcanada.ca/I'm obsessed with these in the reddish purple. Turns out mid rise and baggy is exactly what works for my body type (soft hourglass/close to rectangle). Sits on my high hips and has a gentle curve down to give a bit of a barrel leg and bring out some hips without making me look like a pinched sausage. And so comfy I keep reaching for them. Considering getting another pair or two!

I ordered petite fit as I am a small person. I am a little worried that this kind of baggy style won't look good on me. But when it arrived it fit perfectly and looks very nice. I really like it.

I like these jeans because they're light and comfortable. I usually like to order one or two sizes up for jeans but these jeans run big that should have gone for a size down. I hope washing and drying may shrink a little bit. I got it for sale for $53.00 thought a good deal, but when the jeans arrived had a price tag marked for $16.97. I felt that I didn't have a good deal.
