I am somebody that has a very squishy back. My love handles are insane. My core is not defined. I have had a belly pooch and love handles consistently since I've had my children. I look so good in these jeans. They are so structurally sound that when I put them on you don't see my love handles, and ...they are so flattering, even with me having no butt. XD. They are made so well, the quality is literally insane. This is one of the first pairs of pants I have ever bought from gap and I am literally in love simply because of the quality of the denim
Who designed these? They are laughable. The leg is tapered for starters. It goes from 11" across above the knee down to 9" at the bottom hem. not straight leg so they hang all ganky and stupid and look as such. Next, the rise is 10.5" (on my size 26 short inseam). That's a high rise on a 5'3" perso...n, not "mid". Once again, impossible for them to hang 'cool' with a rise that high. And the hammer loop is sewn on twisted? I'm not sure if that's intentional or a defect, but it looks bad. Lastly, the fabric. They really put spandex in carpenter jeans lolololol. As if. The nail in the coffin as to why they one of the saddest attempts at a carpenter jean ever.

Super comfortable classic fitting painters pants! I love them! At 5'9" and 150, I preferred the size 30/10L to get the classic look. (The 29/8L also fit, but was snug)

Happy w these, have been looking for awhile for carpenter pants. Used the size chart & had to return for one size down. Fabric is soft, light. Couldn't give 5 ⭐ as they have low % of stretch and I miss all cotton sturdier fabric.
