I am a pretty true M and I ordered both the M tall and L tall to ensure an oversized fit. M tall was a true oversized fit without it totally consuming me. Great sweater, not too heavy but not thin either. Super soft cotton. Perfect, everyday black mock neck sweater and incredible quality for the price. Another 10/10 100% cotton Gap sweater that I will be wearing everyday for the rest of the winter.

Super soft material. Love the 100% cotton as someone who avoids polyester and acrylic knits. I am 5'6, 115 lbs, and I tried the XXS, XS, and S. The XS fit me the best width wise, but the arms were too short, so I went with the S, which was a bit wider than I wanted (a problem I often run into since Tall sizes don't extend to XS). But overall, a very nice sweater that I'm excited to own.
