This sweater is lovely and a beautiful heritage piece. However, this is vastly smaller than similar gap sweaters. The other 100% cotton sweaters I have from this season are all XS - I'm 5'9" and 120lbs, I have to size up to a L to get a similar fit - otherwise the sleeves are SO short and the sweate...r looks too cropped. My normal XS or S literally looks like a child's sweater. I'd take at least one, if not two, sizes up from your normal GAP sweater size.
Bought two - brown and off white. Brown fits perfectly (slim, not tight; short, not cropped) but white (definitely not off white) was noticeably bigger and arms were pieced together wrong, creating bulges on top of shoulder. Kept the brown (love) and returned the white. Mixed review is for the incon...sistency in sizing and quality control. Pro tip: size up if you want to put this sweater in the dryer. It's 100% cotton and will shrink.

Good quality and great for layering or on its own. I'm 5'1" and 115lbs ordered an XS petite. The sweater hits at my hip bone, and the sleeves end at the wrist bone. The fit is more boxy than oversized. If you want the oversized look like on the model, I would recommend to size up (or order regular if you're petite). The material is a nice structured, medium-weight knit so it may not give the slouchy look for larger chests. The brown colorway has green fibers woven in them; the green isn't noticeable but the color leans more of a slightly warm/neutral brown than a neutral/cool brown. There's also some nice knit detailing near the collarbone area.

The texture is nice and I appreciate that it's 100% cotton. Unfortunately, the way the seams are all knit together, it's quite lumpy and misshapen. Might have just been the one mailed to me, but I will sadly be returning it. #sweepstakes

Im usually a size xs/s, I have broad shoulders and short torso. The size small fit slightly loose, draping over my hips. However I also bought black in Medium and that was more loose. Cotton materials tend to shrink in washer so take that into account. Overall I loved the way both size fit, I'd just prefer the medium so I can place in wash
