This is a Belted sheath dress. It is thin with some stretch. It can be styled many ways but the cut makes me feel frumpy. It does the job for quick dress for work wear but the cut is not flattering at all.
I am 5-8 and 135lbs and went with XS (tried Small and XS) and it's still roomy and hits right above my ankles. It's lovely and I like the poplin fabric but because of the length and volume, it likely doesnt work for everyone. I do wish the belt was removable.
I'm currently a 14 and the large was huge. I'm 5'8 and will usually order a tall from Gap/Athleta - this dress was to my ankles and the sleeves were well past my wrists. I'm hoping to write another review after ordering the medium. Also, I didn't realize the belt was attached - I wish it had an option to be removable, at this price point it feels a little cheap to have an attached belt.
I'm 5'3" 140 lbs and I bought a size small...this dress is swimming on me. I wish I had bought an XS. Its very flowy and I wasn't expecting the elastic waist in the back. Overall its a staple piece that I feel will get a lot of seasonal use. Seems very chic and I plan to wear it with my brown cow boy boots :)
This is way too expensive. Would love to purchase this dress.
