This hood was exactly what I was looking for. It offers neck and head protection for my jackets without a hood, minus the bulkiness. I ordered each color.
Got the navy and gray. I think it's decent for just the hoodie. The navy is nicer than the gray. My major gripe is why cheap out with a white cord for the gray hoodie, why not go with the matching gray. It's the only one out of all the colors that doesn't have a matching cord. It's a minor detail b...ut very noticeable. A bit disappointing on the merchandising decision. Also noticing everything I've been receiving from the Gap stinks. So need to wash everything well before wearing.

This is the perfect layer piece when you do not want the bulk but you want your head covered. This is a very unique innovation, just the hood. The color looks just like the picture and it is cozy and comfy. I purchased this specifically for traveling so that I had a hoody to pop on year round that fits in a handbag. I liked it so much I bought it in pink and navy.
