First of all, I have every color. That says it all! I love this soft turtleneck, and yes, it's a thin cotton, but perfect layering piece. I wear the xxs and it's nicely fitted but not uncomfortably tight. Great length too. I love the neck being slightly more relaxed than a classic turtleneck, becaus...e I can push it down or wear it higher depending…I bought most of them at the end of last season and got a phenomenal deal, but just bought 5 more in the height of season because they are worth every cent! Do not hesitate!
Yes, it is more skintight than other gap shirts. Material is thin, could be sheer/see through depending on how tightly it fits/lighting. Material is SCRATCHY. Turtleneck part is flimsy and floppy due to shirt material. A big no from me.

gapcanada.ca/I ordered the brown and thought it would be a perfect lightweight sweater. The colour is beautiful but the fit was strange. It fit great in the torso but the arms were long and VERY baggy especially in the front shoulder/armpit area. I checked to see if it was on backwards it felt so strange. It also smelt really bad. I don't know if it was because of the dye. I'll have to return sadly. I'm not sure if I received a stretched out/ tried on one or if this is how they all fit.

gapcanada.ca/I got similar a few years back and they are not like they used to be. They used to be way better. These are NOT ribbed. Very thin but true to size. Almost cheap feeling. Would not pay full price for these.

Got it in 2 colors: off white and terra brown. The white is a slightly warm-neutral shade and is a bit sheer. A nude color bra underneath could work, but the seams still give away how sheer it is. I'm fine with it since I like to layer so it doesn't bother me, but I probably wouldn't wear it as a standalone top. The terra brown is a nice deep and neutral brown. I like how it doesn't lean too cool or warm.
