Between the two black turtlenecks I ordered from Gap, the Featherweight was far inferior to the Modern. Yes, the Featherweight is buttery soft – but it's also flimsy (the neck doesn't stay up nicely) and incredibly thin. If that's what you're looking for and you catch it on sale, yay! But the Modern has more weight to it (while still being sleek and snug) and the neck itself stays up for a chic look. The Modern is actually worth keeping, IMO.

The fabric is soft and lightweight but unfortunately you can see right through it. As soon as I put it on the fabric stretched and you can see my bra. Not ideal.
