love this turtle neck. It fit well and the neck is not too tight. The neck is more of a tall mock neck that doesn't need to be folded down but if a shorter neck is desired it can be folded down. I was concerned that it would be shear but it isn't which is great.

I absolutely love this turtleneck. As someone with a ~35 in bust, ~29 in waist, and about 20 in from collarbone to hip, a M Tall fit me perfectly and gave me the most lovely fitted look. The fabric is definitely thin but it feels super lightweight and cool. Recommend!

Between the two black turtlenecks I ordered from Gap, the Featherweight was far inferior to the Modern. Yes, the Featherweight is buttery soft – but it's also flimsy (the neck doesn't stay up nicely) and incredibly thin. If that's what you're looking for and you catch it on sale, yay! But the Modern has more weight to it (while still being sleek and snug) and the neck itself stays up for a chic look. The Modern is actually worth keeping, IMO.
