I used to wear a lot of Gap sweatshirts when I was a kid but I haven't shopped for their apparel in like 20 years. Recently I saw someone wearing a Gap sweatshirt like one of the ones I had when I was growing up and it made me want my own. That's being said, I decided to order this sweatshirt and ho...ly wow - it's perfect! So incredibly soft and the fit is amazing. I went up a size so it's extra cozy while still being the perfect length. It's loose in all the right places while still being flattering. So happy I ordered this! If you're on the fence, definitely get it - you won't be disappointed.
The pink color is so cute, but if I could go back I would not buy this. I bought the bright pink Gap hooded sweatshirt, the bright pink crewneck and the bright pink sweatpants for the whole set in the color sugar plum neon pink and it has been a disaster. I followed the care instructions and washed ...in cold water with other red and pink clothes and then dried it on the very lowest setting on low heat and it dyed my entire dryer pink and the white trim on some red sweatpants that had white trim on them are all red now. That was my favorite pair of sweatpants and I'm devastated. I have tried to get it out using stain remover and soaking it, but it won't budge. I can't dry my white clothes or white bed sheets now because my dryer is now stained pink and the dye is coming off on all my other clothes. I've been scrubbing it for hours and it won't come out. I live in an apartment so I'm also worried about not getting my security deposit back now. This has been a complete nightmare. I understand a little color bleeding, but this is insane. You shouldn't sell clothes that do this. Use another fabric or color so this doesn't happen to your customers. I spent a lot of money to ruin my dryer and other clothes and the amount of time I'm spending scrubbing and cleaning has been a lot and it's not coming out. I'm so upset. This is horrible. Why would you sell this product knowing it does this? This has made me never want to shop at the Gap again.

You cant wash it with anything even after multiple washes because the color washes out. My daughter got a tiny stain on it and i sprayed it and rubbed ir a little but and the color came completely out. Has a white spot on it not and ruined after having less than 2 months

My daughter has wanted this hoodie for at least a year, and we finally got it. It's very cute on her with the bright pink and the fit is cute. It does bleed all over everything. It turned her white bra pink just from trying it on in the store (this easily washed out of the bra). I made sure to wash the hoodie cold with old towels, and it did turn them pink. I will continue to wash it with towels until this stops! Still, such a cute piece.

think it's kinda insane that it's all over tiktok in people washing machines bleeding. out and the review section for products also seem to have the same issue. seen this everywhere for a couple months kinda insane gap isn't doing anything to address it or fix the the dye

I love this hoodie .. it fits so perfectly. I love the light weight feel and the cropped look. However, the quality of this neon pink color DYE is absolutely ridiculously horrible. I wore this today for the first time with lighter grey sweatpants and started noticing a pink hue on them. I've been working all night to get it out .. let's hope it comes out. I thought oh I should I washed it first … well I washed it as per the directions.. and now the hoodie is splotchy pink. This shouldn't happen to any piece of clothing especially one so over priced. Do better Gap.
