these are GREAT pants. I ordered my usual size across brands, 14, and while the 14 in these pants technically fit, i am returning for a 16 to get more ease through the seat. noteworthy: i typically do size up in gap pants, but stick with my usual xl when that range (straight s-xl) applies. at old navy i usually wear a 14 and still have the wiggle room i'm hoping the 16 give me with this re-order. these pants are the perfect taper (not much, really) that keep them in straight leg territory and out of "wide leg," where i do love to live, but in an ankle crop i want good flow and to remain professional with a straighter cut. these pants have the perfect amount of shape to them in that way. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, they are crepe, not twill. this is fine with me, but should be clear to the consumer. won't stop me from ordering a second color while they're 50% off. 2 for 1? don't mind if i do!

The fit of the pants is very flattering and they're comfortable and great for work. But the name twill was misleading as these are far dressier and thinner than I was anticipating.

I had high hopes for these pants , but the length was just not right. In the pictures, the models must be very tall and the pants are way above the ankle. I am 5'5", and the pants are an awkward length. I really wanted to like them, love the color and the feel, but have to return them .

These are a great pant. I got my regular 8R (5'3", 165lbs, 29 waist) and they fit perfect. I hope they come out with more colors.

FEEDBACK for GAP: Please start including inseam (and waste) measurements on your descriptions! The general model sizing is not that helpful. Having an actual inseam (in inches) included in the description will reduce returns/exchanges and increase sales. The other gap brands do it, why don't you?
