I'm normally at least a large (I gotta very big bottom) for pants, but I read the reviews that stated these were very baggy. So I decided to size down to a medium, and I am happy I did. Sizing down allowed the pants to be shapely on me, but the waistband is very accommodating, and I think the waistband on the large size would be too loose. I'm 5'3" and 155lbs, and I got the petite medium. Comfy pants that is appropriate to dress down or up! I only wash these in cold and lay flat to dry.
