It is absolutely huge. I would say a person needs to go down two sizes.

Purchased this coat after receiving the black one for Xmas. Once wearing the black coat the noise of the material drove me crazy. Sadly I returned this one for that fact only. The discounted price makes this jacket a steal if you can contend with the rustling noise. I wear Xl but ordered a large, but could have easily went down to a medium.

Fits large. My wife takes a large usually; but it was too large so we are trying to move down to a medium.
I wanted to love this jacket, first ordered a Tall XL, then a Tall Large. Both too big. Not going for a third try. Jacket well constructed, just way to large in body/sleeves.
